Notice is hereby given that the Polling for Cook Ward haying been this diy interrupted by violence at half-part live o’clock in the afternoon, I, as Returning Officer at the Polling Booth for the sa d ward, did, pursuant to section 39 of the Regulation of Local .Elections Act, 1876, close the polling at the said Booth, and did adjourn the same until TO-MORROW, the 13th day of SEPTEMBER, 1878 ; and notice is hereby further given that the Polling at the said Booth will be resumed to-morrow, the 13th day of September, 1878, at half-past five o’clock in the afternoon.
