We report a fair amount of trade in every department during the past month, with a steady increase ns compared with the same period In former years. Although stocks have been greatly, augumented, as will be seen by reference to the amount of Customs duties collected, it is satisfactory to notice the absence of any forced auction sales, which should indicate that the demand keeps pace with our supplies.
