Notice is hereby given, that an Extraordi-. nary General Meeting of the shareholders of the above company will be held at Watson’s Hotel, in Dunedin, at the hour of 3 o’clock ill the AFTERNOON of MONDAY, the SEVENTH day of OCTOBER next, for the purpose of repealing or altering Regulations 31, 73, 80, 82, and 87 of the Articles of Association, and of making such new regulations as may be necessary to carry out the following objects, namely;— • 1. That one annual, instead of two halfyearly ordinary general meetings of shareholders, be held. 2. That such annual meeting shall bo held some time in November in each year, the first of such meetings to. be held in November, 1879. 3. That the directors shall lay before every such annual meeting a report aud balance-sheet for the year ending on the preceding 30th September. i. That at such annual meeting the directors and auditors shall be elected, the present directors and auditors holding office till November, 1879. 5. That the directors be empowered at their discretion to declare and pay to the shareholders an interim halfyearly dividend, if in their opinion the accrued profits are sufficient for that purpose. , By order of the Board of Directors.
