The following coasters cleared out at the Customs yesterdayßuby, schooner, for Kaikoura; Richard and Mary, schooner, for Oamarn: Uno, ketch, for Ballard or Moutero; Elizabeth Curie, schooner, for Havelock. The steamer Napier, from Picton, arrived at the wharf yesterday morning at 6 o'clock. She left at B'o'clock the night previous, aud'experienced rough weather across. She left again for Blenheim last night. Tho steamer Stormbird arrived at the wharf shortly after midday yesterday.’ She experienced fine weather, and made the passage from Wanganui in 12 boors. She returns azain this evening. ■The Taupo left the wharf shortly after 4 o’clock yesterday for Lyttelton, and took a large number of ; passengers ns excursionists to the opening of the ! railway line between Christchurch and Dunedin. The regular Nelson and Picton trader Wellington arrived hare shortly before daylight yesterday. She left Nelson at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, called at Picton, and experienced rough weather across. The steamer Wanaka Is due here this morning from the South, and leaves again for the North during the afternoon. The ship Medea cleared at the Customs yesterday for Anger, in the Island of Java. She expects to get away to-day. .The Union Company's steamer Taupo has been thoroughly cleaned and painted on the L'atent Slip at Evans Bay. The steamer Manawatu will leave for Wanganui at 9 o'clock this morning. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company's Monthly Circular, dated 18th July, says:—The New Zealand Shipping Company (Limited) Los despatched the following vessels since the date of our lost circular —Juno 27, Waimea. for Otago aud Bluff Harbor, with 8 passengers; July 4, Eakaia, for Wellington via Plymouth, 230 passengers : July 12, Waltangi, for Cantorbury’via Plymouth, 333 passengers ; July 13, Wairoa, for Wellington, 4S passengers ; July 13, City of Auckland, for Napier via Plymouth, 243 passengers; July 15, Avona, for Auckland, 1 passenger. And will despatch—July 24, Mataura, for Otago; August 3, Rangltikci, for Canterbury; Augusts, Loch Fleet, for Auckland; August 6, Oorina, for Wellington: August 12, Waitara; for Bluff Harbor.
