Nees, about one mile from “ The Square,” Palmerston. The Sections Nos. 1 to 15 have frontages to the main road from Palmerston to Napier, and contain about one rood each. Nos. 16 to 31 have about J-acre each. The other sections up to 60 contain from 11 acres to 2 acres each. Each allotment or Section has a frontage to a public road of one chain or 66£t. wide, whilst there is laid off_ a road from the Manawatn River to the main road of one chain. WARDELL, WAIRARAPA. Before the Sale of the Township. MR. R. J. DUNCAN is instructed by James Gilligan, Esq., to sell on Thursday, 19th inst., at half-past 11 o’clock, at the Panama-street saleroom, prior to the great sale of Wardell township sections— The suburban land connected therewith, consisting of about 200 acres, more or less, which have been surveyed and laid out in allotments of from 5 acres to 10 acres each. These suburban sections bave a frontage to the main trunk line of road from Masterton to Castlepoint—commencing at Mr. O'Connor’s house, extending to the new bridge—between the road and the river. It is quite unnecessary for the auctioneer to dilate on the character of the soil. He has simply to recommend buyers to inspect the land before the day of sale. It will be found to be unsurpassed by any in New Zealand. A portion carries some of the finest totara timber. As to what good account these sections may be turned to by the industrious settler, Mr. Duncan has only to ask people to look at what Mr. O’Connor has accomplished, and the allotments he has to sell on the 19th inst. are exactly of the same character as those owned and under cultivation by Mr. O’Connor, which are indeed worth going many miles to look at!
