In colonial produce, stocks of every description are in excess of our wants, and low prices are the result. Butter in kegs remains unaltered at 9d to lOd-per lb . for prime, with only moderate demand. Bacon and haras move off in retail lots only, at 8d to BjUl per lb. for beat Canterbury cure. Oicese is in full supply at 7d to 8d per lb. for Canterbury and Akaroa make. Quotations for hoar continue low, and as stocks on hand are more than adequate for supplying the trade for some time to come, we see no prospect of improved rates. Best brands of Oamara and Canterbury flour are offered at £ll to £ll 10s per ton for trade lots. Oats are in better supply, and stocks are increasing. B st milling sorts are worth 4s 7d to 4s 9cl per bushel, with good demand. Maize In moderate demand at 5a to 5s 3d; full stocks. Fowls' wheat in demand at 4s 3d to 4a Gd per bushel. BY IELEORAPU.
