SPECIAL TELEGRAMS. London, August 26. .Yellow fever is spreading in America, Several storms have occurred in England, inflicting much damage. A revolution has broken out at San Domingo. H.M.S. Cormorant has sailed from Spithead for Australia. A leader in The Times referring to the quarrels of the Victorian Legislature strongly objects to appeals to Downing-street, and recommends the settlement of these questions by the joint vote of the two Colonial Houses of Legislature. The Times remarks that the Legislative Council hitherto has exhibited more respect for law and sounder Constitutional spirit than the Lower House. . AUSTRALIAN NEWS. Melbodene, Friday. The cable negotiations have ended. The Loudon board decline tho terms, and Colonel Glover leaves immediately for England.
