SPECIAL TELEGUAM. London, August 20. . Great depression exists at Vienna in consequence of difficulties encountered by the Austrian troops in their advance into Bosnia. There has been immense excitement created at Pesth because of the losses sustained by the Hungarian troops. In reply to a statement of the Porto that Turkey is unable to stop the insurgents, Austria announced that further bloodshed would lead to the annexation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Austria, by right of conquest. The Powers have addressed a simultaneous remonstrance to the Porte. In consequence of the Porte’s refusal to cede Crete to Greece, the Kussian papers now urge that neutral troops should occupy Thessaly, Count Schouvaloff's brother succeeds Mezentzow as Chief of the Police of St. Petersburg. The Emerald, war ship, has sailed from Plymouth for Australia.
