V'N EORGE THOMAS has received instrnovllT tions from the Trustees to sell by public auction, on Thursday, 29th August, at 2 o’clock, at his rooms, Lambton-quay,_ those splendid freehold premises contained in Lot No. 1— No. 1 Lot. A three-storey warehouse (freehold), erected in 1876; contractors, Rountree and Russell ; architect, C. Tringham, Esq. The whole of the frame Hobarton hardwood (extra size); front planked and panelled with heart of kauri, as well as flooring; sides, back, and roof covered with corrugated iron ; size of building, 50ft. frontage to Mannersstreet ; depth, 80ft. or thereabouts. Ground floor approached from Mannersstreet ; second floor approached from Willisstreet, being on,a level with the approach from Willis-street; third (floor is also approached from Willie-street, thereby only having to lift the goods one story, which is accomplished by an American lift, being a fixture on the third floor. The whole of the machinery is in thorough working order. SITUATED IN THE VERY CENTRE OP THE CITY OF WELLINGTON IN A FAVORITE LOCALITY, Messes, bethune & hunter win sell by public auction, at their Salerooms, Exchange Buildings, Manners Street, Te Aro, on Monday, 26th .August, 1878, at 2 o’clock— LOT 1. A block, comprising nearly three acres of Land, including the whole of Town Acre No. 162, the whole of Town Acre No. 164, and the unoccupied portion of Town Acre 166. These sections have frontages to Wellington Terrace, and to Dixon Street. Permission has been granted by the City Council to make a road through the block ; if constructed this will connect Willis Street with Wellington Terrace, which will increase the frontages and render the property valuable and accessible. LOT 2. A block, containing nearly three acres of land, including the whole of Town Acre No. 192, the whole of Town Acre No. 194, and the residue of Town Aero No. 193 (all the aero except the portion occupied by Dr. Lemon and Mr. Morton.) These acres have a frontage to Wellington Terrace, and a passage will be loft through Town Acre No. 133 and 191, by which access will be afforded to the lower side of the acres. LOT 8.
