For Napier and Poverty Bay, per Rangatlra, on Wednesday, at 3 p.m. For Wanganui, per Stormbird, this day, at 3 p.m. For Foxton (for letters specially addressed), per Tui, this day, at 3 p.m. For Lyttelton. Port Chalmers, and Blnff, per Maori, this day, at 2 p.m. For Picton and Nelson, per Wellington, on Thursday, at noon. * Edward D. Butts, Chief Postmaster.
Mails for the United Kingdom and Australian Colonies, per Axawata, close at 11 a.m. this day (Tuesday). Malls for Sydney, per City of New York, duo this day (Tuesday), will close immediately after her arrival at Auckland.
