Sixth Division of Profits. Tho whole of the profits are divided amongst the assured, and bonusesto the amount of £910,000 have already been allotted. The last division of profits took place in 1874, and the cash surplus then divided amounted to £235,000, giving additions to policies averaging £3 per cent; per annum on the sum assured. The bonuses paid on policies becoming claims have varied from £ls per cent, on the sum assured for a policy of five years’ standing to £l6O per cent, for one of twenty-five years’ duration. Bonuses become vested additions to policies when they have been full five years in force.
