SPECIAL TELEGRAM. London, June 27. The Australians are playing eighteen of Hunslet, a small town near Leeds. Nine of the Australians are out for 175, of which Bannerman made 52 and Gregory 31. The weather is very hot. The Government have commenced the prosecution of a writer in the Foreign Office for stealing a copy of the Anglo-Russian agreement, which was published in the Globe. The Congress decided yesterday that Varna should be commercially a free port. The Bank rate is 3 per cent. June 29. ■ The Congress has discussed the question of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is believed that Austrian occupation of these provinces is imminent. The first innings of the Australians closed for 205. Allen, who carried out his bat, made 39.
