MoCREDIE, General and Furnishing Ironmonger, Lambton-quay (Opposite the Theatre Royal), BEGS to announce that in consequence of his having purchased those large and commodious premises known as the Old Wellington Club, where he intends in future (after the necessary alterations have been completed) to carry on his business, to avoid the danger of damage and breakage in the removal of his large and valuable stock, he has determined upon offering it to the public at a large reduction. The ENTIRE STOCK, is now being EE-MARKED IN PLAIN FIGURES and at prices which cannot fail to attract attention. The sale will only continue during the time the alteration of the aforesaid premises is in progress, as on completion the balance of stock must bo removed at all risks. The attention therefore of parties about to furnish, builders, and others is called to this genuine sale. In order to give additional facilities to customers who may bo unuablo to make their purchases during the day M. The working parts have been constructed with so much simplicity that the slightest touch of the foot on the treadle will set it going at a rapid rate. Several tests were made at the establishment of Messrs. Long and Co. yesterday, and in every instance the machines fully upheld the important advantages claimed for them. The most astonishing feat of sewing six layers of heavy tweed with four of tin together was accomplished. The machines are well worthy of inspection.”— Aye, April 13, 1877.
