We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results'of 1 the analysis; 1 which are set forth in a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It has a pure, fragrant, odor, and is ahso-', lutely free from any trace of fusil oil or other" injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps.
