A CONTRADICTION.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES,
Sin,-—Will you be so kind as to contradict a telegraphic statement that appeared in the Evening Post, that I have resigned my seat in Parliament. I have neither done so, nor given any one authority to do so on my behalf,—X am, &c., : A. J, Burns, M.H.E. Iloslyn. ■ Wellington, May 23.
