Mails close at the Cliief Post Cilice, Wellington, as follows„ , Por Nelson, New Plymouth, and Manukau, per Taiaroa, on Thursday, at 5 p.m. ‘ For Napier, Auckland, Sydney, Sandwich Islands, ■ America! the West Indies, Europe. Ac., via San ' Francisco, per Rotorua, on Saturday, at noon. _ For Napier Poverty Bay, Tauranga, and Auckland, per Hawea, this day, at I p.m. For Wanganui, per Manawatu, this day, at .i p-m For Nelson. Westport, Greymouth, and Hokitika, per Kennedy, this day, at 5 p.m. For Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff, per Taranaki, on Thursday, at 2 p.m. On and after Wednesday, the 22nd Instant, malls for Wanganui and the principal towns on the West Coast will close at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, at 7.30 p.m. daily (Sundays expected), and mails lor Napier and townships on the line of road between Pamierston North and Napier, will close every Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7.30 P-m- . , Edward D.
