THE STEAMER GO-AHEAD. • The above steamer, which has been purchased by the firm of Messrs. Johnston and Co., of this city, arrived in port at half-past 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, with- a cargo of coals from the Bay of islands. She left Auckland on the 70th Instant, ana had a heavy passage to the Bay of Islands, arriving there on the. 12th. Loaded with coals, and left again on the 16th. Had strong N.W. weather down, and arrived in Napier on Saturday; sailed again next morning' at 8 o'clock, and arrived hero as above stated. Experienced moderate southerly winds from Napier. The Go-Ahead, after discharging her coal, will load for Caatlepointand Napier." AVe understand that It Is the intention of her owners that she shall trade to the various stations on the East Coast, and oq the West Coast to Manawatu and Wanganui.
