Passengers who are in the habit of travelling Ip and from Foxton will probably he glad to hear of this Taupe, from Auckland, via tlio East Coast, is dno here on Monday rooming. . The Wellington, from Pleton and Nelson, and Kangatira, from Napier and Poverty Kay, are expseted to arrive hero during to-morrow . 'The schooner Knby arrived hero from White Rock and Kaikoura at 0 o clock yesterday morning with a full cargo of produce. She experienced some, heavy weather on the coast, and after leaving Kaikoura had to anchor at Plaxbonme from a heavy north-west gale till Thursday momieg, when the wind changed to the southward. The schooner ran before it for a few hours, but the sea increasing greatly, it wu deemed prudent to stand in for the land for smooth water, and she took shelter under the blaff. Cloudy Bay, till the weather moderated, and then stood over for this port, arriving as above stated. The p.s. Manawatu left Wanganui at 0.30 a.m. yesterday, and arrived here at 1 o'clock this morning. Experienced a etrong westerly gale ami heavy sea down. The Manawatu la announced to sail again -for Wanganui to-day. -
