Began, for a first offence, was dismissed with a caution. , BREACH OP THE DEBTORS AND CREDITORS ACT. Lawrence Salmon was charged ou the information of William Berry,' trustee, with committing a breach of the Debtors and Creditors Act, 1876/ • ' - Mr. Ollivier appeared for the prosecution, and Mr. Pitzherbert for the defendant. • The first witness called’was *H. O. Wilmer, who deposed that he was Deputy-Begistrar of the Supreme Court. He produced a declaration of insolvency, under the Debtors and Creditors Act 1876, in the matter of Lawrence' Salmon, of Wellington, a debtor. It was filed on the 21st of March last. William Berry stated that he was a certificated accountant under the Bankruptcy Act, He was elected, a trustee in the estate of the accused, and signed an acceptance of the trusteeship in.the minute-book of the proceedings. On the application of Mr. Ollivier the accused was remanded until the :16th inst; TRANSFER OP LICENSE, : ; P.
