Trade has been moderately brisk during the past week, but restricted to current wants, and stocks, as will be seen by the large amount p rid in duties, have increased considerably. THE LONDON WOOL MARKET. Messrs. EiUmbotfttg'b, Ooxab, and Co. report under date London, 270* March, ns follows :—Since our l»»st circular of the 12th last., the attendance of buyers at our public sales- of colonial wool, though still good, has not bee»qpU* so numerous asat theopenlng, and prices Uftxq. Shown some little irregularity, the depressed atpto of trade and continued political uncertainties, having more than counterbalanced any effect which, might otlxsrsose have been produced by tho telegrams from Australia, the latest received here oa tae 22ml placing tho deficiency in shipments to date at 70,000 bales. The competition for the better classes of Port Phillip wools, more especially when of good length and sound in staple, continues unabated at full rates, but faulty descriptions are at times rather easier to buy. In New South Wales and Queensland wool some high prices hare been made for extra choice flocks; and wools with fair length and soundness of staple have also sold well, but short clothing flotco ana low earthy and seedy greasies are cheaper. The serious drop, however, has been in the medium and lower grades of greasy Adelaides, which have, fallen fully Id per lb from opening rates, owing to the buyers of tbe*e wools at the commencement of the series finding on testing the wool that the waste far exceeded their calculations, and this lias sympathetically, although to a lesser degree, affected the value of the better grades. Owing to a great portion of the stock of Capes being again held over by importers, whilst the shipments from that colony are also below lha average, there has been a somewhat better tone in the market, and snow whites rule slightly over the host prices of the Novcrnber-December series. Onavdes also are firm, but the Eastern Province fleece wool continues neglected, and at most realise average prices of last series. Western ftoeco also (continues depressed. The sales will Qlewe on the 5tU proximo. 7tY TELEGRAPH. AUCKLAND SHARE MARKET. (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.' AUCKLAND. Friday. Mr Alexander Saunders, reports as follows;—Buyers: C?
