A GRANDE MARQUE. TO THE PUBLIC Since the introduction of UDOLPHO WOLFE’S SCHNAPPS it has become, through its wonderful medicinal merits, the most largely consumed spirit in this market, and. it, therefore is not surprising that it has been .’ f - IMITATED AND COUNTERFEITED. Purchasers should use the greatest caution or they will have a SPURIOUS AND CHEAPER Article palmed off on them as the GENUINE SCHNAPPS. Some unprincipled people are retailing a compound of their own manufacture which they sell under the name of “WOLFE’S” SCHNAPPS. We therefore strongly advise purchasers to protect themselves, and buy only ORIGINAL UNOPENED BOTTLES ' OR CASES, And thus secure the full advantages of this EXTRAORDINARY. MEDICAL BEVERAGE. A The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holbom Viaduct, E. 0., London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr. H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed Article 1 to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth in a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces ■; of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr. Hart’s Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and quite genuine. (Signed) .
