Information Ims been received of the death by drowning', whilst crossing the river Matatitaki, near Hampden, in the pvovinoiai district of Nelson, of Mr. William O'Brien, shoemaker, aged '25 years. Tho deceased, wo understand, had friends living at Greymouth.
