BY TELEGRAPH. ■. LYTTELTON, Wednesday. Amoved : Onward, from Thames. Sailed : Fairlie, for the Manukau. OAMARU, Wednesday. Sailed : Martha Reid, schooner, for Nelson. The s.s. Wellington left Nelson at 12.30 p.m. on Tuesday, and arrived in Picton at 9 o’clock same night. Sailed again at 1.30 a.m. yesterday, and arrived in port at 0 a.m. She left again for Picton and Nelson at 10 o'clock last night. A large number of steamers, all taking cargo and ■passengers, sailed during yesterday. It is anticipated that thd s.s. Albion from Melbourne, via the West Coast, may arrive here this evening. The s.s Wanaka left Dunedin on Sunday morning last, and reached Lyttelton at ( 7 a.m. on Monday; sailed again next day at 7.30 p.m., an<T arrived here at 1.15 p.m. yesterday. Experienced strong head winds up from Lyttelton. The Wanaka will sail for Auckland via the East Coast to-day at noon. The brigantine Exonia cleared out yesterday for Guam, but we understand her destination is Newcastle. She is expected to sail to- day. The schooner Aurora, sailed from Lyttelton on Thursday last, and had to contend against strong Lead winds {he whole way up. Made the Heads on Tuesday morning, but owing to the strong gale blow- ■ Ing anchored there till 3 o clock yesterday morning, when she got under way, and arrived here at 7 a.m. She was berthed at ITlmmer’s wharf to discharge yesterday.
