RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Tuesday, April Id. (Before J. C. Crawford, Esq., R.M.) DRUNKENNESS. John McCullum, William Day, and Robert Causewell were each fined 5s for drunkenness. UNREGISTERED DOGS. James Cornwall, summoned for having an unregistered dog in his possession, said he had only arrived in Wellington with the dog on Monday morning last, and it had since been registered. The case was dismissed. Edward Macdonald, Alfred Walker, and W. T. Parsons were severally fined 5s for keeping unregistered dogs. The hearing of a similar charge against Alexander Geerie was adjomned until Thursday next. OBSTRUCTING, THE FOOTPATH. Mr N. J. Isaacs, auctioneer, was summoned for obstructing the footway opposite his store in Lambton-quay by placing cas-s thereon. Mr. Isaacs admitted the charge, and was fined 5s and costs. : . -j ; .. . . . .. civil cases. ...... ~ ,H. Davies v. S. James.' .Claim of £7 Ds fid. Judgment for the full amount, with costs.
