The amount of tonnage on the berth for London is large. OAMAEU, Friday. Grain isnow coming in in large quantities, but farmers ask more than buyers are willing to give, owing to crops turning out better than expected. Wheat shows a downward tendency, and has recoded to 4s. Best samples of oats in good demaud at Ss. 4s, to 4s Cd. Breadstuffs quoted, f.o.b.—Flour, £lllos to £l2; oatmeal, £18; pearl barley, £2O; pollard, £5 10s; bran, £3 ss; potatoes, 45s to 50s. TIMAEU. Friday. The grain quotations are about the same as last week. Wheat shows a somewhat downward tendency. Oats are scarce, and in better demand/ In barley there are but few transactions to quote.
