The ship Lord of the Isles was berthed at the wharf yesterday forenoon. The Annie Moore for Newcastle, Cynthia and Reliance for Pelorus Sound, and Shepherdess and Elizabeth for Picton, sailed yesterday. In oar report of the arrival of the ship Lord of the. Isles yesterday from London, the name of the steward ■who die t on the passage out was accidentally printed Cotterell instead of Cortheil. The chief officer’s name happens., however, to. be Cotterell, and—■well, that gentleman. docs not like the idea of being considered dead. Tho a s. Wellington, from Nehon, and Picton, arrived here at 10 a.m. yesterday. She left Nelson at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, and arrived at Picton at 5.30 a.m. yesterday : sailed again an hour afterwards, and arrived here as above stated. Experienced line weather * throughout. The Wellington s dled again for Nelson and Picton at 12 o'clock last night. The s.s. Rotorua, from Sydney via Napier and Auckland, will arrive here to-morrow. The s.s. .Stormbird left Wanganui at 9 30 p.m, on Tuesday. Had line weather down, and arrived here at 11 a.m. yejterday. The Stormbird will sail again for Wanganui this afternoon. The s.s, Hawea arrived here from the South at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. She left Dunedin at 3 p.m. on the 18th and arrived at Lyttelton at 8 o’clock next morning ; left again at I p.m., and arrived here S 3 above stat d. Experienced line weather up. The Hawea will sail for Auckland via the East Coast today at noon. - ■ The s.s. Napier arrived here at noon yesterday from Blenheim, having crossed the, bar at 6 a.m. The Napier sails again for Blenheim to-day.
