The Auslra'ia has arrived with the English and American mails, after a smart passage of 21 days 5 hours. New Zealand passengers—Miss P. Clayton, Messrs. Haymond. Benjamin, Reichell. and Macguire, Panorant, Kerasley, and 21 steerage. Australian passengers—Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, Messrs. Lyon. Bromback, McKay, Morgan, Weir, Nann, Wolf, and 60 steerage. . . .. The following is the Mail Agents report of the round voyage of the Australia. She left Auckland on January Bth, at 7.35 p.ra.. and arrived at Honolulu on the 21st, at 10.30 p.m. Sailed on the 22nd, at 1 p.m.,. and arrived at 'Frisco, January '29th, at 6.4 S p.m. Fin* weather was experienced throughout the passage, which was °2 days 19 hours. She left ’Frisco on the return trip, February 18th, at 2.45 p.m., and arrived at Honolulu on February 26th, at noon. Sailed at 4.20 p.m., and arrived at Auckland yesterday, at 5.10 pm A strong westerly gal© was experienced for three days after leaving Honolulu, then Ene weather and strong favorable winds to Auckland. The passage occupied 21 days 5 hours. ‘ 1 * Tuesday. Arrived ; 11.40 a.m., Hawea, from Wellington; Hawea, for Akaroa and Port Chalmers, at 5 Wanaka- sails at S p.m. Passengers for Wellington—Messrs. Hadley, Cheraan, and Whiteford (2). The barque Loch Cree, under charter to the New Zealand Skipping Company, arrived from London this morning, after a passage of 79 days from land to land. PORT CHALMERS, Tuesday. Arrived: The French barque Ulysse, 43 days from. Mauritius;:- She brings 13,181 mats of sugar. Ringarooma, from the Bluff; Axawata, from Lyttelton.* Sailed: Ringarooma, for Lyttelton. The time-ball may be used to-day for rating chronometers. A chronometer true on Greenwich time would show 12h. SOmin, when .the ball drops. Any difference is error, plus or minus, of the chronometer. The s.s. Napier left Blenheim at 12.30 a.m. yesterday, and arrived here at 6.30 p.m. The Napier will sail again for Blenheim to-day. . _ The p.s. Luna, Captain Bascand, arrived from Lyttelton at 10 o’clock last night. Her cargo consists of 400 bags oatmeal. 33 bales chaff, SO sacks flour, and sundries, for this port, and 120 tons produce, etc., for the West Coast. • „ _ ~, The s.a. Murray arrived here from Nelson ana tne West Coast ports at 9 a.m. yesterday, haying left Nelson at 8.30 p.m. the previous evening. She sailed again last night at 11 o’clock for Nelson and West Coast ports. ', „ The p.s. Manawatu arrived here from Wanganui at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon, having left port at midnight on the previous (lay. She sailed again for Wanganui at 8 o’clock last night. The barquentine Lorlnda Boratel, for San Francisco, and the barque Edwin Bassett, for Newcastle, left the harbor yesterday, with a fair wind. The schooners Wild Wave for Lyttelton, Maiden City for Pelorus Sound, and the Aurora for the East Coast, sailed yesterday. . _
