Corporation Notices W K ELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL. NEW BY-LAWS. BUILDING REGULATIONS. NOTICE :is hereby given, that: it is proposed to alter the existingJßuilding Regulations as under ; and that the proposed alterations will be taken into consideration for final adoption at a meeting of the City Council to be held on THURSDAY, the 4th APRIL, at the usual hour : That the Eastern Boundary of No. 1 District in Courtenay - place be the •Eastern Boundary of Town Section ' 220, the remainder of the District East of that Boundary to be included in No : . 3 District. That after the Ist July, 1878, all buildings erected in District No. 1 shall have boundary and roar walls of brick, stone, or concrete ; and that " the boundary walla shall rise at least thirty inches above the roof. That no verandah or balcony shall be erected over a public footpath until the design and material to be used in its construction have been approved in writing by the City Engineer. Any balcony or verandah erected without this approval shall be removed, the cost of such removal, together with a fine not ■ exceeding £lO, to be recovered from the person offending. CHARLES 0.
