SEALED TENDERS will be received until NOON of THURSDAY, the Hth MARCH, 1878— For the erection of the First Section of the proposed Patea Harbor Works, being a BREAKWATER of about 600 ft. in length, composed of rubble and concrete. Plans and Specifications can be seen at the offices of Mr. Alfred Buckland, Auckland; Mr. R. J. Duncan, Wellington; and at the office of the Board. Carlyle, Patea. Tenders must be accompanied with cash, or cheque marked by the banker, good for one month, for 5 per cent, upon the amount of the tender.
