John Barrat was summoned for depositingfoul matter on the beach at the foot of Cob - street. • Inspector Monaghan said a new depot had been opened near Crawford- treet. Defendant saia the rubbish 'was dep .Led in tins' water, and washed out by the tide. The Court inflicted a fine of ss. and costs. PROTECTION ORDERS. Norah Spoor summoned her husband, James. Spoor, to show cause why a married woman’s property protection order should not be granted in her favor. Defendant did not appear. . Applicant stated that she was married to defendant four years ago, aud left him eighteen months ago on acoounfof his ill-treatment, but hud subsequently returned.
