The Underwriters’ Association report that the New .Zealand Shipping Company’s ship Craigmiller. from Rondon bound to Wellington, met with a collision and put back. LYTTELTON, Friday. Sailed ; Minnehaha, for Dunedin ; Helena, for Auckland. AUCKLAND, Friday. Sailed: Hawea. for the South with ’Fri co mail, at 5 o’clock last night. Passengers for Wellington— Mesdaraes Fitchett and Kollo, Messrs. Ramsbottora, Broughton, Campbell, and Jackson. The s.s. Easby arrived here from South at 8 o’clock last night. She left Port Chalmers at 2,30 p.m. on the 13th; had variable winds and long S.E. swell for 12 hours, followed by strong N.E. winds to arrival at Lyttelton at 1 p.m on the 14th; sailed same day at 5 p.m.; passed Kaikoura at 830 a.m. yesterday, and Cape Campbell at 3 p.m., arriving here as above stated. Experienced strong northerly winds and head sea up the coast from Lyttelton. he Easby will sail for Sydney direct at 11 a.m. to-day. The schooner Aspasia arrived here from Lyttelton yesterday with a cargo of produce. She left Lyttelton on Sunday last, and had northerly weather nearly the whole way up. The s.s. Taranaki, from the North, will arrive here to-day, and sail again South in the afternoon. The following steamers sailed yesterday:—Grafton, for West Coast ports and Nelson, at 1.30 p.m.; St. Kilda, for Wanganui, at 2.15 p.m.; Star of the South, for South, at 4.30 p.m.: and Ringarooma, for Nelson, at 5 p.m. The steamer Taiaroa left Dunedin on Wednesday last; arrived at Lyttelton next morning; sailed again at 6 p m. same day, and arrived in AYeliington at 3 p.m. yesterday. Had northerly weather principally up the coast. The Taiaroa sailed for Auckland, via the East Coast, at 8 o’clock last evening. The barque Charlotta A. Littlefield having finished the discharge of her cargo from New York, hauled into the stream yesterday morning, where she will take In ballast preparatory to leaving for Valparaiso. The Hawea, from Auckland, with the ’Frisco mail, is expected down here on Monday morning. The Manawatu will sail for Wanganui to-day at 2 p.m. The Luna, from Westport, is expected here to-day. The steamer Kennedy, from Nelson, will be in port this morning, Bhe is advertised to sail for Nelson and West Coast ports in the evening. The Aurora for East Coast, Reliance for Pelorus Sound, and Endeavor for Lyttelton, sailed yesterday forenoon. fiSThc Hmernoa, after waiting some thirty-siz hours for the San Francisco mail, had to leave the Manukau at length without it, as she had orders to be in Wellington early on Saturday morning. She left the 'Manukau at 4.30 p.m. on Thursday; had thick, rainy weather down, and arrived here at midnight yesterday. The Hinemoa passed the Ringarooma off The Brothers. and the Taiaroa off Terawiti. The s.s. Storrnblrd is expected to arrive hero this forenoon.
