BANKRUPTS’ MEETINGS.

IN RE DONEGHUE AND PARR. A meeting of creditors in the estate of Doneghue and Parr, wheelwrights aud coachbuilders, Wellington, was held at the Supreme Court buildings yesterday afternoon, Mr. E, W. Mills, trustee, iu the chair. Mr. Brandon appeared for the creditors, and Mr, Gordon Allan for the bankrupts. Robert James Parr was examined at length, and stated that he aud his partner commenced business in 187<3, with & joint capital of £2lO. They obtained an overdraft from the bank on Mr. Henry Mace, brewer, becoming security for the same. Subsequently a bill of sale over bankrupts’ property was given to Mr. Mace, although large sums were owing to other persons. At the conclusion of Mr. Parr’s examination the meeting was adjourned. IN RE GEORGE PETER CARRINGTON. A meeting of creditors in the estate of Mr. George Peter Carrington, civil engineer, was to have been held iu the Supreme Court House yesterday, but lapsed for want of a quorum. IN RE JOHN ALFRED CHANEY. A meeting of creditors in the estate of Mr. John Alfred Chaney, publican, of the Upper Hutt, was held in the Supreme Court buildings yesterday. Messrs. Hart and Buckley appeared for the bankrupt, and Mr, Gordon Allan for the creditors. Captain Thomas, trustee, presided. The bankrupt, whose liabilities are set down at £676, and his assets at £1059, was examined at length, aud the meeting was then adjourned until Mon day.
