The Wellington, from Nelson and Picton, will arrive here this morning. _ She is announced to sail for the same ports at midnight. The s.s. Stnrmbird arrived here from Wanganui at 4.30 a.m. yesterday. She left there at 4 p.m. on Monday. and had northerly winds down. The Stormbird will sail for Wanganui to-day. The Rangatira sailed for Napier and Poverty Bay at 1 o’clock'yesterday afternoon. The p.s. Charles Edward arrived here at 8.15 a.m. yesterday from Nelson and West Coast ports. She left Westport at noon on the 9th, and reached Nelson at 8 o’clock next morning; was away again at 5.30 p.m. on the 11th, and arrived here as above stated, light S.W. winds were met with to Jackson Head: thence to arrival strong N.W. gale. The Charles Edward sailed for Nelson and West Coast ports at 8 o’clock last evening. The s.s. Wakatipu sailed South at 4.50 p.m. yesterday.
