RIFLE MATCH.
WELLINGTON CITY RIFLHS V. CHRISTCHURCH CITY fiCARDS. A return match between the above corps took place on Wednesday, each temi firing on its own range. The conditions were 10 men a-side; distances, ‘2OO, 400, 500, and 600 yards; five shots at each distance. The match resulted in an easy victory again for the City Rifles, who scored 506 against the City Guards 502 points. Sergeant Harris was top scorer for the City Rides, having made the magnificent score of 70 out of a possible SO. We give the scores of the City Rifles in full
