The marriage of the Prince of Chimay, the heir to one of the greater houses in Prance, to Mile. Lejeun, a lovely Won ds, with a fortune of £1,000,000, left to her by her grandfather, the youngerjMichol, aonce famous banker, not long since, elicited much comment. The Paris papers were full of details of her trousseau. Her lingerie alone is valued at 100,000 francs, including twenty-four pairs of sheets, embroidered by hand with the Caramau arms ; twenty-four dozen chemises, embroidered and covered with Valenciennes lace, and four lace handkerchiefs, with the Cararaan arms, each costing from 1000 to 5000 francs; a fan in Venice point, enriched with diamonds, and bearing in the centre the arms of Caraman and Chimay, and amongst her jewellery is a necklace consisting of a circle of forty-two large brilliants, wish their inner circle, each consisting of thirtyseven brilliants, with a magnificent emerald and threo anperb brilliants.
