The following are the duties collected at the Cus‘ toms yesterday:—

Adelaide flour moves off freely at £l7 10s. per ton. , In colonial produce Southern brands of flour have been selling during the week at £l4 10a per ton for guaranteed samples and brands, but at auction the highest bid obtainable was £l2 per ton for Anderson’s Dunedin flour, also guaranteed, at which figure only 5 tons were allowed to go. Oats meet with improved demand, and have advanced iu value, 4s 3d per bushel being jiow the lowest quotation, with an upward tendency ; fowls’ feed in fair enquiry at 4s to 4s 3d ; maize, 5s per bushel; butter continues of low value, and prime quality cure in kegs cannot obtain more than sld per lb, at which figure a few sales only have been made ; cheese is rather higher, and the large stocks having diminished, prices are settling down to a more reasonable figure; best quality last season’s Canterbury make is worth to Ski per lb. according to quality; now cheese is quoted at C*d to7id; bacon and hams, dull at Sd to 9d per lb; bran, lid to Is per bushel. Mr. Geo. Thomas reports produce prices;—Adelaide flour, £l7 10s to £IS per ton ; colonial, £l4 to £ls ; oats, 4s 3d per bushel, scarce; bran. CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. Harvest prospects continue to improve, and n fair average of crops of all cereals is expected in most districts. In •Id grain there is little doing. Milling wheat is quoted at 5s to 5s Cd; oats, 3s Cd to 3s 9d; barley, 3s Cd to ss. flour, £l4 10s to £ls 10s; brau, £4 10s; sharps, £5 10s; cheese, 7d; butter, 9cl. TIMARU, Friday. Produce quotations arc as follows;—Wheat, 4& 3d to 4s Cd. There is no sale for oats, as the new crop will bo ready for the market in a fortnight; prices are weaker, 3s Cd to Ss 9d. In barley there is no demand. Flour, £1410s; sharps, £slos; bran, £4los. AUCKLAND. Friday. Share market quotations are as follows:—Bank of New Zealand, £23 10s; Colonial Bank, 50s; South British Insurance, 775; Union, 12s Cd; Moanataiari, 77s to 80s; Tokatea, 7s; Kurunui, 14s ; Piako, ss; Thames, Sis. Mr. Buckland reports Fat cattle, 23s to 30s per lOOlbs ; young ewes, 10s to 11s ; aged, from 2s Cd ; fat sheep, last week's prices. OAMARU, Friday. The grain and breadstuff's market still exhibits a downward tendency. There are no transactions going forward. Wheat is quoted at 4s ; best oats, 3s; feed. Ss 3d; and milling, 3s Cd.
