We ( Aryus) are iuformed that Mr. W. J. Clarke has generously promised to give £IOOO a year for ten years to the New Cathedral Fund, on the condition that not less than £SOOO a year shall be expended in the erection of the building. If more than £SOOO a year be expended on the woik, Mr. Clarke will allow the excess of expenditure to count for succeeding years.
