Arrived : Albion Company’s ship Auckland, from London, after a passage of 93 days. She brings 50 . passengers and 2500 tons cargo. She reports speaking the May Queen, from London for Auckland, in lat. 28*44 N., long. 19*49 W., on October 13 ; all well.—St. Hilda, from Wanganui. Sailed : Grafton, for ‘Wellington, at 0 p.m. WEATHER INDICATIONS, Yesterday, 9 a.m. Wind. —Generally between north and west and south-west to the northward of Lyttelton; but between north-east and north and west at places further'South. Barometer.—May fall southward of Kaikoura, but no very marked movement in the South. Sea. —Generally moderate on coast. Strong southerly gales prevailed on the eastern coast of the North Island, accompanied by much sea and a rapidly rising barometer. Weather.—Likely fine, but windy. CLEARANCE OF THE ZEALANDIA. The .fine ship Zealandia, of Messrs. Shaw, Savill. and Co., finished loading for London yesterday, after having received remarkably quick despatch. She is the third wool vessel of the season. She only takes a limited number of passengers. Her cargo, which is a large and valuable one, consists of 5200 bales wool, 33 pkgs do, 67 bales skins, 117 casks tallow. 168 case* meat, and 24 pkgs sundries; total value of cargo, £103.000. It is anticipated that she will sail for London, to-morrow. The ketch Venus sailed for Pelorus Sound yesterday. The Wellington sailed for Nelson with excursionists yesterday evening. She was very well patronised, and as the weather ins every appearance of continuing fine, no doubt the trip will be as pleasant as those which have preceded it. The brig Neptune left this harbor yesterday afternoon for Newcastle. She was taken in tow by the Jane Douglas when halfway down the Bay, and towed to the Heads. The Jane Douglas left for Foxton yesterday at G p.m. The a s. Wanaka, with the English mail on board, arrived in port yesterday evening at 7.50 o’clock. She left the Kay of Islands at 7 p.m. on the 20th De-ember, and arrived at Auckland next morning at 8 o'clock. Sailed with the English mail, ex s.s. City of New York, on the 28th at 5 p.m.; anchored in the Tanranga River at 6.20 a.m. on the 29th, transhipped mails and passengers, and proceeded at 7.15 same night, encountering a heavy S. w. gale. At 6.55 a.m arrived off Gisborne; a heavy sea running and no boat coming off till 9 a.m., could not land any cargo, mailed at 9 a.m., with the south-easter still blowing, which continued throughout the passage to Hawke's Bay, anchoring at 8 p.m.; could only tranship passengers and mails, and left again at 10 p.m., arriving here as above stated. The Wanaka sailed for the South late last night. The Murray, after taking the Picton, Nelson, and West Coast portion of the English mail, sailed last evening.
