Entries must be made to the secretary, at the New Zealander Hotel, Manners-street, Wellington, as follows : Maiden Race ; 100 yards, 220 yards, 440 yards, 880 yards, handicaps ; Stone and Basket Handicap, Walking Handicap, Bicycle Handicap, and Hurdle Handicap, on or before Monday the 17th of December. Handicaps will be declared on Friday, the 21st December, and acceptances will be received up to nine o’clock on Thursday, 27th December. Entries for the remaining events will be received at the secretary’s office on the ground on the day of the Sports, Sports to commence at 11 o’clock sharp. A first-class Band will be in attendance.
