UPON reading the affidavits of Jonas Woodward, of Wellington, Public Trustee, and of James Campbell, of Wellington, Master Mariner, I do order that the Public Trustee, the Curator of the Estates of Deceased Persons, shall be administrator of all and singular the goods, chattels, and credits of Malcolm Fraser, deceased; and that this order be published in the New Zealand Times newspaper. The Council is desirous of securing the services of a thoroughly competent Chief Surveyor for the city from the Ist day of JANUARY NEXT, who shall, in addition to the ordinary duties of that office, have the control of all the public works of the Corporation —drainage, waterworks, wharf, &c. The Council invites application for the same. The salary is fixed at £6OO per annum. Further particulars may be obtained on applying at the Town Clerk’s Office.
