ST. GEORGE'S HALL.
St. George’s Hall attracted another crowded house last evening, when the clever Alleen Troupe appeared in a new programme, which was received with loud applause. The triple trapeze act was indeed -excellent, the performers being Miss Alleen Laurel and Messrs. Lament and Laurel The children, Masters Harry and Albert Elder, of course came in for the lion share of applause, and the singing by Mr. Cary of “ Kit, the Cobbler,” caused a rapturous redemand. To-night is the last appearance but one of this talented troupe, and to-morrow afternoon at three o’clock a special performance will be given for the benefit of schools and families. As this entertainment is specially adapted for children, we have no doubt there will be a crowded house. On Monday night Herr Schott, the celebrated oboe soloist, has been engaged to appear; also, the Lydia-Howarde Troupe, who will perform the operatic burlesque of “ Lucia di hammermoor.”
