Napier arrived here early yesterday morning from Blenheim, and sailed again for the same place last night. , , , , The s.s. Tui, after receiving a thorough overhaul, came round from the Patent Slip yesterday. She will leave for Foxton to-day. _ The p.s. Grafton, which was recently purchased by Captain Williams for this port, left Sydney on Wednesday last, and may be looked for here about the The s.s. Kingarooma, Captain J. AY. Clark, left Nelson at 10.30 a.ra. yesterday, and arrived at 7.30 same evening. Experienc-d strong head winds and heavy sea till arrival. The Kingarooma will leave for Melbourne via the South on Sunday afternoon. The s.s. Easby left Sydney at 2 a.m. on the 13th inst., and cleared the Heads at 3.40 with light S.E. winds. Had variable weather to the Bluff and along the coast, and arrived here at 5.30 p.m. yesterday. We thank Captain Anderson for flies, &c. The Easby leave* for Newcastle 10-day. The s.s. AVeliington arrived alongside the wharf at 1 o’clock this morning. She left Manukau at 9 a.m. on the 21st, arrived at Taranaki at 5.30 a.m,, and sailed at 7 a.m. on the 22nd; arrived at Nelson at 9 p.m' sain- night; sailed again at 10 a.m. on the 23rd (vesterday), arrived at Picton at 0 p.m,: sailed at 7 p.m. same night, arriving as above. Experienced fine weather throughout the passage. AA'RECK OF THE CUTTER DIDO. Tins well-known vessel, according to a telegram received in town yesterday morning, has been wrecked at Totaranui, Blind Bay, on Tuesday evening last. All hands were saved. Tire Dido was an Auckland built vessel of 36 tons register, and was owned by Messrs. Fell Eros., of Blenheim. She left here for Coliin.'woort and AVest AVanganui on the sth inst., with two portable engines, one for the AVest AVanganui Coal Company, and the other for the Phcenix Gold Company, shipped by Mr. E. AA r . Mills. The cargo was insured in the Union for £llsO, £6OO of which was reinsured; and the vessel was insured in the same office for £4OO, of which £2OO was reinsured. The place where tire Dido is wrecked is situated at the southern end ot Massacre Bay. She was in charge cf Captain Macfarlane, formerly of the ketch Unity. Messrs. AY. a-.d G. Turnbull and Co., her agents here, have received a telegram stating that she was to he sold.
