Friday, November 23.

(Before their Honors the Chief Justice, Mr. Justice Richmond, and Mr. Justice Gillies.) CALDEII V. DUFF. The hearing of this case was resumed from the previous day, Mr. Cook and Mr. Stout appearing for the appellant, and Mr. Macassy and Mr. Bell for the respondent. Air. Stout having concluded his argument, the Court reserved judgment. GALLOWAY V. GALLOWAY. Mr. Macassy and Mr. Cook appeared for appellant, and Mr. Stout for respondent. This was an appeal from the Supreme Court at Dunedin against a decision of Mr. Justice Williams, discharging a rule nisi obtained by the appellant, Ada Maria Galloway, calling upon the respondent, Jane Galloway, to show cause why letters of administration of the personal estate of James Galloway, deceased, granted to Jane Galloway, his widow, should not be rescinded, and be granted to the appellant, his daughter, instead. The case had not concluded at the time of the rising of the Court, and will be resumed on Monday next.
