In pursuance of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1876, and the Local Elections Act, 1 hereby give public notice that I have received notice of the retirement of G. E. BAETON, Esq., for the Election of Mayor, in accordance with the form in the third schedule of the Local Elections Act, 1876, thereby reducing the number of candidates to the number of vacancies to be filled.
