Sir, —We trust you will kindly allow us the privilege of correcting a repert which appeared iu your paper yesterday, viz., that our slaughter-yards were uot clean. It should have beeu : “The inspector objected to the bones laying about the gullyand which case was dismissed by tlie magistrate yesterday. Our Mr. Woods and the Rev. Von Staveren are constantly at the slaughter-yards, and personally see that everything is kept in perfect order, and as tho whole of the buildings are new, we believe our yards will vie with any in the district.—We are, &c., Woods, Crosbie, & Co.
