AUSTEN, Hon. Sec. Wanted WANTED Known, that in rough and inclement weather people can do their business in the Arcade without being drenched to the skin or blown away. WANTED Known, that the Arcade will be a cool and pleasant promenade in summer, and dry and comfortable in winter. WANTED, Shopkeepers to know that each shop in the Arcade is fitted with a revolving shutter, which can be closed and locked at any time. WANTED Known, to numerous applicants that none of the shops in the Arcade will be let privately. WANTED the public to know that Gasfittings, cheap and of a better class, can be supplied and fixed by T. J. Love, Man-ners-street. Also, all kinds of chimneypots cheap. WANTED Known, that a weighing machine will be kept in the Arcade for the benefit of stall-holders. WANTED KNOWN That Thomas Myers has on sale gold leaf (by the book or 1000), and oleographs, and chromolithographs, engravings, and prints, either framed or nnffamed, with plain or ornamented mouldings to suit everybody. WANTED Known, that the reason for letting the shops in the Arcade by public auction is to give everyone an equal chance of acquiring the best stalls. ANTED KNOWN That Thomas Myers'has for sale gilt, .white, and colored Erench. mounts, in any shape, size, or pattern, suitable for life size oil paintings, photographs, or water-color views. WANTED Known, that the plan of the Arcade and conditions of sale are now in course of preparation. WANTED to be made known that J. T. Love is a manufacturer of all kinds of hydropathic baths and pans. Portable boilers always on sale at reduced rates. Tinware wholesale and retail. WANTED Known, that the Arcade will be brilliantly lighted up with gas some evening prior to the sale, of which due notice will be given. 'ANTED KNOWN That Thomas Myers, of- the Wellington Picture Frame Establishment, Lambton-quay, can regild soiled picture frames, restore and varnish oil paintings, mount maps and pictures (either on card or canvas), cut glass to any size; and has on sale gilt or stained mouldings for framing pictures or decorating rooms, in any pattern, plain or ornamented. WANTED Known, that the Arcade is lighted from the roof by a window containing 2000 square feet of glass. WANTED, Schools, hospitals, and other public and private institutions to know —That Thomas Myers mounts inapt and frames pictures at a great reduction; alsc tenders for work, and guarantees satisfaction. VI- ■ NTED, the public to know that the VV shops in the Arcade null be let by public auction about the end of November.’ ANTED Known, that the Arcade is most centrally situated,’in MannersWANTED Known, that half the population of Wellington pass the Arcade daily. WANTED Known, that gas, rates, taxes, water, insurance, night watchman, and all charges will be paid by the Proprietor of the Arcade. WANTED Known, the shops will be let at per week for twelve months. "ANTED Known, that the entrances to the Arcade are from'Manners-street, St. Hill-street, and Parish-street. WANTED Known, that the finest designed Theatre in the Southern Hemisphere nearly adjoins the Arcade, Mannersstreet. WANTED Known, that the grand promenade gallery in the Arcade is 250 ft. in length. WANTED Known, that the Arcade will be brilliantly lighted up. The estimated cost for gas is £750 per annum. ; WANTED Known, the advantages of an Arcade. Housekeepers can do nearly all their shopping under one roof. ‘ANTED Known, the guiding rules of an Arcade are small profits, extensive sales, and for cash only. WANTED Known, shopkeepers in the Arcade do not require a knowledge of bookkeeping. ANTED Known, that the Tramway Cara from all parts; of the city will carry Passengers and Parcels to and from the Arcade. : . r ANTED Known, that Water-hydrant and Hose is kept in readiness at the T ANTED Known,’that storekeepers'and ' others in the Arcade have the use of irivate offices erected in the yard.'” VT ANTED Known, that only a small V capital is required to stock a shop in Arcade. ANTED Known, Storekeepers and others would do well to have a branch business in the Arcade. WANTED Known, that no offensive trade will be allowed in the Arcade. WANTED Known, that each shop in the Arcade has a window facing the street, which can be used for advertising and other purposes. ANC IN G SKELETON.
