Ground rent payable is £SO per annum. Also, 28 acres 1 rood land in the Omata District, being part of section No. 47 And 1 acre 1 rood 20 perches in the Omata District. The soil is some of the richest and most valuable in this beautiful district, and being only a few miles from New Plymouth, is well worthy the attention of all persons wishing to make a good investment. The hotel was built about three years ago, on the most approved modern principles. It is two storeys high. It contains forty rooms, of all sizes, well fitted and finished throughout. The stables aro large and well ventilated, and contain accommodation for forty-five horses, besides large hay lofts, corn storage, harness rooms, &c. The whole of the buildings on the premises are nearly new, having been built upon the site of the old Red Lion, which was destroyed by fire in 1874, The timber used in the building consists of picked rimu, kauri, and totara, and all are roofed with best corrugated iron. The stables are some of the most convenient in the district, while the site is unexceptionable, being one of the best for business on this coast, as it is close to the Wanganui Bridge, thus commanding a large, extensive, and ever increasing traffic.
