I have received under the hand of his Worship the Mayor intimation of the resignation of E. W. Mills, Esq,, as Councillor, thereby causing an extraordinary vacancy in the Council for Lambton Ward. I therefore give notice, in pursuance of the Municipal Corporation Act, 1876, and the Local Elections Act, 1876, that the election of a person to fill such vacancy will take place on TUESDAY, 13th day of NOYEMBER, at the Sideroom of the Odd Fellows’ Hall.
