Blair Athol is a chestnut, stands near ly 16 hands high, possessing those indispensable qualities, size and substance. He has a good head, nicely put on to a muscular neck, which is well let into splendid shoulders. A rare middle piece and powerful quarters complete the description of a horse that in his own class would be hard to beat in any country. The proprietor has purposely fixed Blair Athol’s fee so as to bring his services within the reach of everyone who wants to breed a foal that will grow into ajuseful animal. Terms. —£4 each mare, payable on Ist January, 1878 ; groomage fee 55., to be paid at first service. Two' or more mares as per agreement. Grazing at the proprietor’s, 2s. per week ; every care taken, but no responsibilities incurred.
