(per abawata at the bluff.) The revenue for the quarter ending September is £1,098,204, showing a decrease of £19,982 as compared with the corresponding period last year. Tenders for the balance of four per cent, inscribed stock were received yesterday. Only one tender was sent in, for £97,000, at £92 10s. The minimum was £97, and nothing was accepted. Councillor Pigdon is elected Mayor of Melbourne for the ensuing year. Judgment has been passed for a dissolution of marriage in the case of Fisher v. Fisher, and the decree was dismissed in Macartney v. Macartney. A section of the railway has been opened to Qippsland. The Indian Famine Fund amounts to over £7OOO. It is likely to.be raised to £IO,OOO.
